Silver Bells
Sweet Silver Bells was created for the 2004 International Fashion Doll Convention to be held in Irving Texas. She will be put on a little Christmas tree as an ornament and given away as part of that raffle. Silver Bells was given a complete facial repaint. She now has dancing blue eyes and a lovely silver shimmer to her pink lips. A few strands of silver, white and blue hair were rooted into her head then braided to add an accent to her blonde locks.
Her dress was created of white velvet and silver ribbon. Silky white beads and soft blue beads accent the bodice. Small silver bells have been sewn down the ribbons and along the hem line of the skirt.
The skirt of the gown was fashioned to resemble a bell. The wire in the silver ribbon help it keep it's shape in spite of the many bells sewed on to it.
Hopefully my 35mm shots will be a bit clearer. I hope this isn't due to my hands shaking.
