Lilac was created for the 2002 Rocky Mountain Mod Barbie convention's silent Auction to benefit the charity Angel's Unaware.
All traces of factory paint were removed so that Lilac could be totally repainted with artist quality acrylics in different shades of purple. She now has lovely violet eyes with a sheen of gold eyeshadow, which doesn't show up well in pictures. Her deep purple lips also have a sheen of gold to them. Her lovely blonde hair has been accented with spirled purple curls, a gold head band accented with flower beads.
Her one of a kind dress was completely hand sewn. It is accented with gold and purple lined glass beads. Further decoration is provided by gold ribbon wrapped around one arm and one leg and accented with more flower beads.
