Gynger Rose
Created for the 2004 International Fashion Doll Convention.
Given a complete repaint, Gynger now has soft green eyes. Her jewelry was made from clear iridescent beads that really don't show how lovely they are in pictures. Earrings, ring, and bracelet match her double strand necklace.
The fabric of Gynger's denim dress was hand bleached in a tie dye method to get the streaks and variegated colors. Her purse was hand sewn of soft suede. I don't know what it is with me and distance shots. No matter how I set this digital camera of mine or how steady my hand I still get a blur. It's getting quite frustrating. Hopefully my 35mm shots will be clearer.
I am very pleased with how Gynger came out. I hope she makes someone at the convention very happy...especially since I don't want to part with her.
