This topic can cover several different types of dolls from various companies. I'll only be posting dolls with cartoonishly big heads on these pages. Now on to meeting our brave volunteers!
Here they sit, a dozen little darlings waiting for new identities. Six boys and six girls. I've paired them off so they may come out as sets. I don't know as I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do with them yet. More pictures will be posted as work progresses on these larger headed teens.
Speaking of larger heads, these three ladies certainly qualify. I'm going to have to give the larger two names soon. The middle doll came with the name Jesse and I've decided to keep it that way.
As the dolls progress I'll put their images up here until they're done and then they'll get their own page showing them from start to finish.
And here is lovely Jesse in the first three stages of her
makeover. The first image on the left is a picture of a mint Jesse doll complete
with hat and costume. The Jesse I purchased was 'pre-loved' doll who came to me
nude but as I forgot to take a picture of her before I erased her face I had to
use this one. The middle image was taken after all original paint had been
removed and I'd tried my first experiment in getting rid of her toothy grin. I
ended up removing this attempt as it was very uneven. The picture to the
right was taken after Jesse's repaint had been completed. What you can't see, or
isn't showing well since this photo was shot indoors, is the holographic glitter
used on her lips and eye shadow. It really adds a fancy shimmer to little
Glitter Goth Jesse. Next comes a bit of hair rooting to get rid of her reverse
widow's peek and add a little pizzazz to her hair. Jewelry has to be added and
finally an outfit in keeping with her new make up.
I think that temporarily this doll will be called Giselle. On the left we have Giselle's original paint and on the right we have the repaint.

And last but not least, Jocosta. It's a temporary name but it give me something to call her. I know both dolls have names given to them by their company that created them but I don't want to step on any toes copyright wise so it's better that I give them new names. Jocosta hasn't started work yet but she is on the short list. :)
