Here is Doll 2 prior to her transformation, smiling happily, unaware of the torture to come
This is the concept sketch I did in ink and colored pencils of Alien Babe Number 3. I was thinking along the lines of those old B movies or TV shows where they show a bunch of beautiful, yet supposedly deadly, alien women lined up like a chorus line and looking about as dangerous as curvy nerf toys.
So, what comes next? Well, for one, her head gets popped off and all factory paint is removed from her head. Then the repaint starts. I've decided to keep her hair in hopes that I can restyle it but I usually do the hair last so I don't have to worry about messing it up as I work.
So, here is her face as we try to turn her into a blue alien babe and yes, she is still having a seriously bad hair day.
And here's her body. I don't know why I'm bothering to pain her entire body this shade of blue as her clothing covers her up but as I may want to make a few alterations to my original concept better to have her painted now then have to do it later and be unable to match the color well. There are a few more coats left to go before I'll be happy with the saturation.
