Whimzee's Cottage's tribute to the Creature of the Black Lagoon and various other monsters.
Here is a shot of our monster before her
transformation. Just your normal, every day, blue eyed, blonde...having a really
bad hair day.
This is the concept sketch I did of the creature I wanted to make. The drawing was done in ink and colored pencils. It's sort of a way of 'jotting' down the general idea of what I want to create. Sometimes the finished product resembles the sketch and other times they look nothing alike but this will at least give you an idea of what I had in mind when I started. :)
And here we have what I call Swamp Monster B
A few new pictures of our lovely Monster B. In this extreme close up you can better see the shimmer of gold to her mottled skin and the various shades of microbeads that make up her 'hair'.
Three different set ups, three different tones. First picture was taken inside with a flash. Second one was taken outside with a neutral background and the third was done out in the backyard with a natural background of grass and trees. Her lovely skin is various shades of green with a touch of blue and a shimmer of gold but each shot makes it look like a different color is dominant.
These new pictures make the gold accents and microbeads really stand out.
