So far I only have one doll photographed. A 'pre-loved' redheaded Gene. She'd been somewhat repainted at some point by the seller but he/she decided they didn't like how it'd had come out and repainting in general so they sold the doll to me. When I stripped the paint from her face I discovered a little problem...the red used for her lips and brows had stained the vinyl.
As you can see she has a bad case of 'kool-aid' mouth. These pictures were taken after weeks of using Oxy to try and get rid of the stain. Since it wasn't working I sent away for something I thought would work much better.
Here is a shot of Kool lips in her Remove-Zit lip/brow mask. You'll note there is also some on her arm, that is because there was some sort of staining there as well. I think it may have been from clothing.
Kool lips, as I call her, is looking much better these days. The staining to her face is nearly gone. She still needs some more time wearing the Remove-Zit lip/brow mask but the staining on her upper arms is completely gone.
Okay, here are a few new pictures of this dolly. She's been named Claire and finally repainted. She's not perfect yet but what is perfection anyway. I like her so next is to make her an outfit or two.
